Business Events
Even after the pandemic, the use of video conference systems such as Zoom, MS Teams, etc. is an
important building block for reaching customers who simply cannot travel or are too far away from
the venue. Expand your circle of participants worldwide and integrate remote participants into the
event.
The technology for so-called hybrid events is demanding, but your participants (whether in
the meeting room or remote) will certainly appreciate a professional audio and video experience.
Planning Stress Was Yesterday
Before the pandemic, a company event was usually an on-site event, which was planned accordingly
regarding topic, objective, size, speakers and evening program. Then the venue was booked, the
speakers and customers or employees were invited – everything was fine!
BUT
The time of the
event came closer, and customer interest was greater than expected, a larger hall had to be rented
urgently, but the hotel was unfortunately already fully booked. A significantly more expensive hotel
was still free..... The time of the event came even closer and many customers canceled and
unfortunately the most important speaker broke a leg while skiing....
Perhaps this is an
extreme example, but you can escape planning stress if you set up your event as a hybrid event right
from the start. The size of the event on site is of course still limited, but your customers can be
there remotely as Webex or Zoom participants. Even if several participants cannot travel at short
notice, they are not excluded and can be there virtually.
The REMOTE Experience
Customers or employees who cannot or do not want to participate in person should under no
circumstances be treated as second-class participants. This happens easily when a laptop with a
webcam is simply placed on a table and the online user only understands fragments or only sees pixel
mud.
The remote participant must be able to understand every word clearly (even if someone speaks
quietly in the back row) and the camera image must convey the feeling of sitting in the front
row.
Therefore, we use professional ceiling microphones that capture the entire room, as well as
several cameras that automatically zoom in on the respective speaker.
The ON-SITE Experience
It gets really bad when the remote participant gives a seemingly endlessly long monologue and the
participants on site stare at a small laptop screen or listen to the crackling laptop
loudspeakers.
We use large 85 inch monitors or projectors on which the remote participants can be
seen in almost life size. The speech is transmitted optimally understandable into the room via our
studio loudspeakers.
